Setting the Bar High…Slamming the Competition!

So after another great and fuzzy weekend in la la land I realized many of my “competitors” shared my strategy with the taco contest…

wait till all the post were in and enter a post last to know what there was to beat. I also realized after the weekend that I had no competition. That’s  right, it didn’t matter when I entered my winning taco shop post. So here it is the taco shop to beat…

photo.jpgHere are just a couple pics of the interior of this epic taco establishment that’s full of amazing lucha libre signed pictures and profiles.

Can’t forget the winning tacos. Pictured here is the “Surf and Turf” taco which shares a menu with the “Tap out” taco, the “Champion” vegetarian taco and the “Smackdown” quesadilla.  These delicious morsels are flavor explosion that put your taste buds in a pile driver until they summit. Composed of marinated steak, grilled shrimp, avocado slices and a creamy white sauce you don’t mind having smeared all over you your face. This is truly an mind blowing oral experience that will have you craving a cigarette and not caring that the whole ordeal only took 3 minutes. but of course don’t expect a call the next day!

If you wanted to really have the full Lucha Libre experience you can sit in a roped off section titled the “Champions Booth”, that is if you call 24 hours in advance. This is right across from the hallowed out TV as a trash can cover with no other than our own Ron Burgundy.

Of course if really really good tacos are not your thing, that is if you’re a terrorist, this shop has you covered as well with TJ style hotdogs. That’s right a hotdog wrapped in bacon and drenched with mayo, ketchup and grilled onions, just to keep it real.

Well gents I think we know who the reigning champ will be in this taco competition, the undisputed Lucha Libre Gourmet Taco Shop! Challengers always welcome…

Yeah thats weird, my Contra Band post was up first and your Taco post got put below it, I think M&T might be fiddling with the site to put his own Taco post up. Either way, big points for breaking the ice. Lucha Libre Taco Shop looks legit. With Burgundy always on the tube, thats pretty fitting. I’m still wiping the creamy white sauce off my face from that post!

Wow, taco style smackdown. I can’t wait to check-in to the smackdown hotel, then walk down smackdown boulevard for a lunch smackdown of tacos…smackdown.
    Great work E!
