Man Ram Fan Jam

A few years ago I could not have envisioned myself writing a
post like this.  Growing up a San
Francisco Giants fan a natural loathing for the Los Angeles Dodgers was instilled
at an early age.

But somehow I managed to land in LA, I go to UCLA, fight 405
traffic and occasionally wear skinny jeans.
My former self may have kicked my current self’s ass.  Things change and people change, and sometimes
its best to embrace the change.  When I
heard that the Los Angeles Dodgers had actually been renamed to the Los
Angheles Doyers it seemed an appropriate time to switch teams.  Giants fans don’t seem to be very happy
campers at Doyer games anyway, or in general for that matter.

Last night I was fortunate enough to witness a great Doyer
game (which makes two great games in a week) in which Man Ram slapped a two run
shot to help bring the Doyers to within stricking range of the Phils lead.

The score was tied in the bottom of the Ninth and Nomar
Garciaparra hit a one run homer to win the game. If y’all want some more of this action, come get it while Manny is still in town.   There’s tacos, bacon wrapped hot dogs, 2 dollar beers and hipster bars all within walking distance.  Who says LA sucks?

Sorry bout it Health, I think they’re calling for the broom!

Viva Los Doyers!

Resisting the temptation to post a giant picture of a broom on the site is difficult. As Health said however, we’ll see what happens this coming weekend. Go doyers, I love you Manny.

The Phils alllllllllllllways suck on their westcoast roadtrip. Let’s hold this post til after tonights game and after the 4 game series at the Bank next week. If they can sweep tonight and win 2 out of 4 in Philly, then you can talk.. Three games we lost by a total of 4 runs, 2 of which were blown by the pen.. let’s not get ahead of ourselves and call Los Doyers world champs just yet. I’m a Doyers supporter, except for 8 days of the year and in a possible playoff situation.. Granted they looked like crap the past three nights, the Phils will be a much scarier team then Los Doyers come playoff time.. And Frick, when you show up at that taco stand or to your compadre selling street meat.. ORDER IN ENGLISH
