Looking Ahead
Aug 11
We learned a valuable lesson from this past weekend… With our busy schedules, we need to plan a little further ahead in an effort to get everybody to make arrangements to make meeting, especially when it’s something as important as celebrating the 4th anniversary of IFS.

So, check your calendars and make sure you don’t have anything planned for November 21st, 22nd and 23rd. This is the weekend we are going to shoot for. Ideally, I would have liked to plan for the weekend of the 15th (that weekend being closer to the actual founding date), but I know I have a wedding I’m a groomsman for down in San Diego.

Fishing usually is best during the summer months when the water is warmer, but I will look into that for November. Hope everyone had a great weekend, and remember my house is always open for anyone who wants to party in Orange County.

I’ll be saving the date for the anniversary. All the ideas seem strong to very strong. Skydiving might be a bit out of budget for a now starving student but I do like the idea of IFS airborne (Xtreme!). I would love to get an update on the last meeting when one of you has the chance.

Good work Letters, way to stay on the Ball. It was a great weekend, I had an amazing time. As for our 4th anniversary, I think that will give us all a good chance to look at the constitution and ratify it. As far as activities go skydiving seems like the most extreme, however for those who haven’t done it before (myself included) I think we have to do a tandem jump with a dude on your back, which is kinda gay. But that still sounds pretty sweet. I also still have a number of IFS surf contest trophies in my closet which are collecting dust. A chartered fishing trip would be cool. Maritime, is the fishing in the SB channel good in November? I feel like the fishing is better in the summer.
