I.V. Update

Our time to enjoy IV has come and gone. Has anyone been to I.V. in the last six months?  But nevertheless the city continues to live on like so many failed science experiments discarded in the trash cans of America.  Here’s a few newsworthy updates from the town that the sea will eventually swallow whole:

For all of you who still miss the IV debauchery and want to remember it digitally can download one of the three wallpapers I made with photos from Flickr.  There’s one for the beach, one for the booze, and one for Halloween.

Other things that have changed at UCSB:
    – there’s now a dominoes in the Ucen
    – After years of petitioning, most of DP has extended loud music hours until 1 am
    – 30 racks of keystone and natty ice cost a dollar more than they used to at IV market ($13.99)
    while everyone’s favorite Milwaukee’s best remains a modest $11.99.
And if anyone needs a reason to visit walk the beautiful streets of IV, I’m still living the dream until December.

Delivery Freebirds! In my day we used to walk 30 blocks, in the rain, uphill both ways, drunk, just to stand in line to get a plate of nachos. Kids these days, with their music, and their delivery freebirds… makes me sick.
