The Next Member Meeting?

Labor_day_2001Inquiring minds want to know when the next meeting is. I have proposed that we hold it on Labor Day Weekend, September 1-3, but I just wanted to get some feedback from other members. Three day weekends are obvious choices, so does anyone have any conflicts with this weekend? I believe that this one is going to be a Santa Barbara meeting so that we can get back to the old IHOP, it’s been a while, especially for Jordan.

The_city_jerseyHowever, for the following meeting (two meetings away) I suggest that we take a small trip to an area that I call home, the San Francisco Bay Area. We’ve covered most parts of Southern California, but somehow we have all yet to converge on the only city in California, if not the US, that is affectionately called "The City". We need to do this meeting. It’s not that far away, but the potential once there, is huge and relatively low cost. I would love to host part of the weekend half an hour across the bay at my parents’ house, and as for the rest, that can be planned in more detail later. We all know how great traveling together is, so lets make this one happen.

First and foremost, lets here some feedback on the next meeting, is Labor Day Weekend good for y’all?

I wouldn’t be able to make it because I will be in Germany visiting John, but we could do a two-man international meeting and take pictures for all to enjoy.
Just want to remind everyone that our 3-year anniversary in November is also coming up…

I’m working on the dates right now. It’s been a little hectic around here lately and oddly enough, it seems as though all of us have actually gotten lives outside of IFS and are busy at different times, which makes coordinating a meeting for 17(?) a little tough. As of right now, we’re planning on meeting at the end of September, either the 22th or the 29th, to fit around peoples’ schedules. Please chime in with your preferences.
Curtis, sign into Google Talk so I can Google Talk to you at work and Google this out.

SF for the meeting after our SB meeting sounds great – Meeting by the Bay. Also, let’s not do Labor Weekend for the next one though, we’d be down to many Monks. I’ll call you after work Towers.

Let me clarify, the next meeting (possibly Labor Day Weekend) is going to be in Santa Barbara and the following meeting in SF (tentatively).
